Serving as an HR professional for over 24 years, Ruby possesses extensive industry experience in various roles in retail and hospitality. Prior to joining the Norfolk Waterside Marriott as the Director of HR, she was an Area HR Business Partner for Fortune 50 Retailer managing multi retail locations. Ruby’s work experience includes operational leadership role, understanding financial impact and spending, discipline specific training and development, employee engagement and investigation, workers compensation management, standards of procedures creation and implementation and strong administrative HR functions. Her goal is to develop property teams, provide support and guidance to property leaders and increase employee retention to create winning dedicated property teams.
